Tubod Festival was launched in June 12, 2006. It is a celebration of the town’s rich natural resources, local culture, and heritage.
Additionally, the town is home to many springs of water. In facts its name, Tuburan, literally means a place of springs. The most popular are Molobolo, Mantawihan, Tubod, Magdagook, Langub, San Juan, and Bitian springs.
Devotion to St. Anthony of Padua

A church was established in honor of St. Anthony of Padua, which was elevated into a parish on July 26, 1854 through a royal decree. On February 13, 1857, a bishop’s decree was issued and officially the new parish seceded from Pinamungajan Church and in turn it became the matris of the Tabuelan Church.
A church that was erected in the 1930s was destroyed during the Second World War.
It was declared an archdiocesan shrine by then Ricardo Cardinal Vidal on January 31, 2007.
